⁉️ FAQs

Q: What’s up with the digital detox aspect?
A: We feel the amount of time most people spend in front of a screen is messed up. While we cannot cure addiction, we can offer a healthy reference experience and help you be more mindful about screen time and other lifestyle choices.

Q: But I need to be reachable in case of emergencies with family/clients/…??!
A: If you truly feel you cannot disappear for just a few days, a retreat might be exactly what you need before you burn out. With that being said, we offer to relay emergency calls or you can go online once per day to check for important missed communication yourself.

Q: How do I know I’m fit enough for the hikes?
A: You need to be okay with doing mountain hikes that keep you on your feet for a couple of hours. If you lack experience in this regard, why not join us on one of our free day trips?

Q: Breathwork or meditation is not part of my routine, will I be able to follow along and get something out of these sessions?
A: Both respiration and attention are so fundamental to life that we strongly believe everybody can and should make friends with them. If you have any potentially related medical issues or have made bad experiences in the past, please let us know in advance.

Q: I’m leaning on the introverted side, will I get overwhelmed by all the group activities?
A: There will be some downtime and nobody expects you to interact with the group constantly. However, if you are not really looking for community and resonate more with the idea of some solitude, this format might not be for you.

Q: I have dietary restrictions, can you accommodate?
A: We will provide 100% vegetarian food, as organic and fresh as is practical. For anything else, just talk to us in advance and we’ll see if we can figure it out together.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: We are cool with friendly and chill dogs if the venue allows them. Conversely this means that if you do not like dogs there may be an issue.

Q: Can I bring my kid?
A: Unfortunately the answer is ‘no’ as we want to provide a relaxing environment. Ironically all parents we’ve asked stated this as their own clear preference.

Q: Why is there no precise date yet?
A: We want to ensure a fun group experience and manage our risk by waiting for enough people with strong intention to participate before we pull the trigger.

Q: Why is there no precise location yet?
A: We have a venue in mind that would work great for this, but want to keep our options open. Venue choice is absolutely key for this to be a success and we are always happy to receive hints.

Q: Do you screen participants?
A: We want to make sure everybody is a good fit as we’ll be spending a lot of time together. If we don’t know you already personally we’ll just do a quick video call as a mutual vibe check and to answer any questions you might have.

Q: How can I help to make this happen?
A: Show us there is demand by joining the waitlist and tell your friends and colleagues about us! Only the cool ones, of course.
